On November 11th, 1974 the academic activities formally began in the Azcapotzalco Campus.  It´s graduates are defined by their capability to face and solve any social requirements.


In 1989 this Academic Campus was the first institution for higher education in Mexico to have a female Chancellor, Dr. Sylvia Beatriz Ortega Salazar.
