The Autonomous Metropolitan University, through its Academic Strengthening and Linkage General Coordination, establishes ties between the university community and the various sectors of society, through agreements and purposeful collaboration agreements that opt for academic and research projects.
Cooperation, exchange, and academic mobility with other national and foreign higher education institutions strengthens the comprehensive training of students.
In these functions, the activities of UAM’S Cooperation and Liaison in Europe Office stand out, responsible for concretizing proactive actions and celebrating agreements that contribute to the institutional positioning in Mexico and abroad.
The dynamic and articulated strategic alliances with national and international institutions of the productive, public, and social sectors, favor that the scientific and technological developments of UAM translate into tangible and timely benefits.
Collaboration mechanisms also translate into the transfer of innovative knowledge that, while promoting analysis, generates proposals for solutions to local, regional, and national problems.
The University implements continuous and virtual education initiatives, in addition to offering timely technical advice to its academic staff, which translates into improving their skills, obtaining financing, granting patents, support in industrial property procedures and technology commercialization.
With this, the Institution manages to attract and diversify the receipt of additional resources, stimulating productivity, innovation and competitiveness of companies, sectors, and regions of the country, as well as to benefit students in the development of their entrepreneurial skills and abilities.
To strengthen the bonds among the professionals trained at UAM, the aim is to facilitate the search for employment through the job market, in addition to offering academic updating activities and other institutional services that foster a sense of pride and belonging to UAM’s university community.
The follow-up of the trajectories of the alumni allows having information to evaluate the relevance and quality of the study plans.
The Digital Library (BiDiUAM) has been an important tool for learning, research, and the dissemination of culture, by allowing access to scientific and technological information platforms.
